APA reports that those who graduated general education schools will ring the bell for the last time.
“Last bell” celebrations will start at 10:00 and last 3 hours till 13:00. Police will tighten security in Baku today. Police will take control over all schools, their number will be increased and they will prevent holding "Last bell" events outside the schools.
Baku State Traffic Police will also tighten security to ensure traffic safety. The traffic police will check the documents of drivers in the streets of schools and adjacent roads.
Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov told journalists a few days ago that necessary measures had been taken at schools on the occasion of “Last bell” celebrations: “The aim of every government official, Ministry of Education, heads of local education departments, headmasters is to make "Last bell" unforgettable for our youth. The Ministry continues to work with relevant organizations to successfully implement this process.”
216 734 pupils finished the general education schools in the academic year 2012-2013 in Azerbaijan. 125 250 pupils finished the 9th from of general education schools, while 91 484 pupils the 11th form.
