Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Azad Rahimov met with the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Chairperson of U.N. Developemtn Group.
The information on currently implemented projects and state programmes in youth sphere was tabled and the perspectives of mutual partnership were discussed during the meeting, spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Samaya Mammadova told APA.
The discussions were also held on the Global Forum on Youth Policies to be held in 28-30 October 2014 in Baku convened by the Government of Azerbaijan, UNDP, UNESCO and U.N. Secretary General’s Office on Youth issues Office.
Helen Clark acknowleged that the Forum would be a greater and successful step in global youth field and will set new perspectives in this direction.
Azad Rahimov mentioned that 700 participants from more than 200 countries will join the Global Forum which aimed to further explore new perspectives on youth policies, take measures for future development of the field, conduct exchange programmes on youth policies with different countries.
