According to him, this year more people have begun to visit the center. “While the past year 50 people would visit the center a week, now it’s more than 100,†he said.

He noted that visitors mostly complain of depression.

"In Azerbaijan, like in the rest of the world, cases of depression are more common among women than among men, we can say it’s twice as many. The reason for this is that women are more emotional and sensitive; they face more violence and other cases," Ismayilov said.   Â

"If you notice any emotional and behavioral changes in your children, you should refer to specialists, psychologists and psychiatrists. They should not worry about others learning their condition because their visits are not recorded and their names may remain anonymous,†he added.Â
