180 employees of the Penitentiary Service were instituted to various disciplinary proceedings. Moreover, another 19 employees were dismissed by justice authorities for having serious shortcomings, breaches, and even ties apart from service.
During the discussion of the report, chiefs of a number of prisons and investigative isolators made their speeches.
Emphasizing the existing shortcomings and breaches, Deputy Minister of Justice, Head of the Penitentiary Service, justice lieutenant-general Medet Guliyev gave some instructions on each service area to improve their work, noting that the administration of the service has defined extra measures in order to achieve work efficiency and increase efforts.
