Education Ministry told APA that 478 students have successfully graduated from universities within the State Program. Some of them continue their education in foreign countries or are working in leading positions in the international organizations and companies. According to the contract signed between the Ministry and students studying abroad under the State Program, these young people are to return to Azerbaijan and work in the private or public sector for 5 years after graduating.
118 of 478 alumni have not returned to Azerbaijan up to now, 342 have returned. The Ministry has not received information whether 18 of them are in the country or not. 51 of 118 alumni staying abroad continue their education within the State Program, 34 at their own expense and 33 are working.
204 alumni who returned to Azerbaijan are working here, 131 haven’t informed the Ministry about the places of their work and 7 are doing military service.
