An incident has occurred in one of two main pipelines providing the Goychay city with the drinking water, APA's local bureau reports.
The incident has occurred in the pipeline with a diameter of 400 millimeters passing through A.Karim street.
As a result of the explosion of the water pipeline, drinking water supply to residents, public and private facilities in all buildings and yard houses located in the lower part of Heydar Aliyev Avenue in the center of Goychay has been cut off.
Totally 50% of the city population has remained without water at present.
