The goods trade deficit in the United States amounted to $106.6 billion in February, a preliminary report by the Bureau of Economic Analysis stated on Monday, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
The figure marks a 0.9% drop compared to January when the trade deficit stood at $107.6 billion.
Exports increased 1.2% in February on a monthly basis to $157.2 billion, while imports were up 0.3% to $263.7 billion. Meanwhile, wholesale inventories increased 2.1% to $814.8 billion, and retail inventories rose by 1.1% to $665.6 billion.
