A memorandum on cooperation was signed between the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the Azerbaijan Accountants and Risk Professionals Association, APA reports.
Before signing the memorandum, the rector of UNEC professor Adalat Muradov and Chairman of the Board of ARPA Public Association Gunay Shahbazova discussed the possible cooperation opportunities.
The importance of increasing interest in the fields of insurance, banking, accounting, and certification exams, organization of propaganda work in this field, as well as ensuring cooperation for students to grow as professional specialists was emphasized.
It was also noted that one of the main goals is joint cooperation between ACCA-accredited UNEC and ARPA which is accredited as a “Professional Accountant Organization” in the direction of Professional Certification of Accountants.
