The long-range cruise missile Flamingo has become a major success of Ukraine’s missile program. Very soon, it will go into mass production, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a meeting with journalists on August 20, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
The Flamingo missile has already undergone testing.
“And so far, this is the most successful missile we have. It flies 3,000 kilometers, this is important,” the president noted.
He emphasized that it is too early to disclose details about Flamingo until there is a possibility to use them by the hundreds.
“By December, we will have more of them. And by the end of December or in January-February, mass production should begin. We need to look at success in testing, we need to look at the funding of this program,” Zelenskyy added.
