Turkish mountain climbers to march to Mount Hachadagh to commemorate victims of Khojaly genocide

Turkish mountain climbers will march to Mount Hachadagh to commemorate the memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide, APA reports.

The climbers who came to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for this purpose visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of Nakhchivan city and got acquainted with the Museum of Heydar Aliyev. Later the visitors visited the monument of the founder of the Turkish state, Mustafa Kamal Ataturk, erected in Nakhchivan city. The climbers from Istanbul, Antalya, Kars, Agri, and Igdir regions of Türkiye will march to Mount Hachadagh yesterday. They will unfurl the flags of Azerbaijan and Türkiye at the top to commemorate the martyrs of both Khojaly and the Second Garabakh War and celebrate the victory won.
