A delegation led by Turkish Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security Adnan Ertem visited the DOST Agency under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the ministry told APA.
The guests first familiarized themselves with the services provided to the public at Baku DOST Center No. 1 and the center's working principles. During the meeting, Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency Farid Mammadov informed the guests about the activities of the DOST centers. The advantages of the DOST concept, an initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, and the innovative solutions it has brought to the field of public social services were highlighted, and a presentation on DOST services was made.
The Turkish delegation also familiarized itself with the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity under the ministry. The center's director, Elnara Ansari, informed the guests about the work carried out at the social enterprise to integrate people from vulnerable groups into society. The delegation familiarized itself with the center's areas of activity and creative process. During the visit, musical performances by instructors and beneficiaries were presented, along with an exhibition of handicrafts made by them.
The guests highly appreciated the work carried out to develop the creative potential of vulnerable groups and support their employment, as well as the equal opportunities and social integration environment created for them.
At the end, Adnan Ertem wrote his impressions and heartfelt wishes in the center's commemorative book.
