After the fire at the Republican Perinatal Center, TABIB immediately began evacuation, and 60 babies were evacuated, said Anar Israfilov, deputy executive director of TABIB, APA reports.
According to him, the condition of the evacuated babies is stable: "The babies were evacuated to six medical facilities under TABIB. There are no signs of burns or smoke suffocation of the babies."
He noted that the Republican Perinatal Center is a third level maternity institution: "The babies here were born either prematurely or with other pathologies. There were no complications about the evacuation."
