The Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom has completed EOD level 3+ training for 13 employees of the explosion group of the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), APA reports citing APA.
The relevant training was organized in accordance with the agreement reached between the Agency and the British Embassy in our country. The aim is to increase the possibilities for the employees of the Agency involved in humanitarian demining activities to apply advanced practices and methods in the demining of mines and unexploded ordnance. In accordance with the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS), the training provides field workers with new knowledge and skills on inculcating rules of conduct and safety, the principle of operation and neutralization of improvised explosive devices, and other explosive devices. improvised explosive devices and other explosive devices. The exercises also cover the planning, management, and execution of blasting operations.
The EOD 3+ training, taught by the International School of Security and Explosives Education (ISSEE) for one month, which is organized regarding the neutralization of mine and military ammunition, was held at ANAMA's Horadiz Regional Center in Fuzuli.
Within the framework of the training activity of ANAMA, the Training of Trainers (ToT) program was started to be implemented for the training staff of the Agency by the employees of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain in order to get opportunities for organizing and holding EOD level+ training.
