Even without relocation to Aghdam city, about 10 thousand people live in the city area", Emin Huseynov, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts, said at a conference organized by the Prosecutor General's Office in Aghdam today, APA reports.
He also provided information on the demining work carried out in the areas: "51.24 percent of the Aghdam district, 67.76 percent of the Fuzuli district, and 7.56 percent of the Khojavend district have been cleared of mines. In addition, a number of infrastructure projects have been implemented. 16 highways with a total length of 593.7 kilometers, a railway line with a total length of 47.1 kilometers, an international airport, 8 substations, 4 reservoirs, and 6 water channels, as well as a main gas pipeline, have been built in the last eight months."
