Rwandan President visits Alleys of Honor and Martyrs-UPDATED

President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame visited the Alley of Martyrs on September 20, APA reports.

The high guest paid tribute to the memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who lost their lives in the struggle for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.

Then, the President of Rwanda, who was watching the view of our capital from the highest point of Baku, was informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the development and construction works carried out in the city.

President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honor on September 20 and paid tribute to the memory of the National Leader of our people, the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at his grave, APA reports.

The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated, and fresh flowers were laid on her grave.

The graves of prominent statesman and public figure Aziz Aliyev and talented doctor Tamerlan Aliyev were also visited, and bouquets of flowers were laid at their graves.
