The resettlement convoys sent to their native lands on August 21 have arrived in the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi city, the villages of Badara, Khanyurdu, Khanabad, Ballija and Tazabina of Khojaly district, and the villages of Kolatagh, Hasanriz, Ashaghi Oratagh and Chapar of Aghdara district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
At this stage, apartment keys were presented to 8 families comprising 36 people resettled in the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi city, 5 families comprising 13 people in Badara village of Khojaly district, 4 families comprising 10 people in Khanyurdu village, 8 families comprising 31 people in Khanabad village, 3 families comprising 8 people in Ballija village, 14 families comprising 71 people in Tazabina village, 12 families comprising 36 people in Kolatagh village of Aghdara district, 6 families comprising 30 people in Hasanriz village, 12 families comprising 49 people in Ashaghi Oratagh village, and 15 families comprising 51 people in Chapar village.
Representatives of the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, as well as the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, attended the ceremony.

The latest resettlement convoy has arrived in the villages of Badara, Khanyurdu, Khanabad, Ballija and Tazabina in Khojaly district, APA’s local bureau reports.
Those who have relocated are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.
At this stage, five families (13 people) have been resettled in Badara village, four families (10 people) in Khanyurdu village, eight families (31 people) in Khanabad village, three families (8 people) in Ballija village, and 14 families (71 people) in Tazabina village of Khojaly district.
