The remains of martyred serviceman Tarlan Rustamov Kamal, who was considered missing during the First Garabagh War and whose burial site and identity were determined 32 years later, have been laid to rest, APA reports.

Following a farewell ceremony for Tarlan Rustamov, an officer of the Azerbaijani Army who went missing during the First Garabagh War, his remains were buried at the Alley of Martyrs in Lokbatan.

The burial ceremony was attended by the martyr's family members and public representatives.

A military orchestra performed the National Anthem, and a volley salute was fired.

Note that Tarlan Rustamov was born on March 20, 1974, in Lerik District's Shivla village. He went missing on September 20, 1992, in the village of Sirkhavand in the Aghdam District. His remains were later discovered in the same village.
