“We attach great importance to the exchange of knowledge and experience with Azerbaijan’s judicial institutions,” said Ahmet Gökay Aktaş, Prosecutor of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Türkiye, at the international conference themed “National Leader Heydar Aliyev is the author of the independent Constitution of Azerbaijan” held in Lachin, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

He emphasized that the principles of the rule of law, the guarantee of fundamental rights and freedoms, and the separation of powers form the basis of modern constitutions:

“The 30th anniversary of the Constitution is not only a meaningful and proud occasion for Azerbaijan, but also for us as a brotherly and friendly country. As the Prosecution Service of the Republic of Türkiye, we attach great importance to the exchange of knowledge and experience with the judicial institutions of friendly countries, particularly Azerbaijan. Our common legal culture, similar constitutional approaches, and mutual trust provide a foundation for strengthening this cooperation even further.”
