As reported, on June 15, at around 8:00 a.m., the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, continuing their acts of terrorism, provocation fired various caliber firearms at the "Lachin" Border Control Post located at the beginning of the Lachin-Khankendi highway, which is the sovereign territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and opened fire on the military personnel of the State Border Service serving in the area, as a result of which 1 military personnel, ensign Elshan Rustamov, received gunshot wounds, the information of Prosecutor General's Office says, APA reports.
Prosecutor's office officers inspected the scene, formalized traces of the crime, and took material evidence.
As the Prosecutor General's Office, we declare that the place of the incident is the territory of Gulabird village of Lachin district of the Republic of Azerbaijan and it is the sovereign territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan without exception.
