Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah launched ballistic missile strikes on Riyadh International Airport, as well as military bases in Khamis Mushayt and Jizan, according to the movement's military spokesman, Yahya Saria, APA reports.
"The Yemeni armed forces <...> carried out three military operations using dozens of ballistic missiles," Saria wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the attacks targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the Khamis Mushayt airbase in southern Saudi Arabia, and the Border Force naval base in Jizan. Saria also called on international airlines and passengers to avoid flying through Riyadh Airport, calling it unsafe.
