Uzbekistan’s experience in the automotive industry is now being transferred to Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev said at the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, APA reports.
“The experience your country has gained in the automotive industry is now being transferred to Azerbaijan as well. The first project has already been implemented, and now we are talking about establishing a full production cycle. More than $80 million is planned to be invested in Hajigabul. A second plant is currently also under construction, and this enterprise is expected to give a significant boost to the development of our country’s automotive industry,” the head of state said.
