Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, restoration, and reconstruction works in the liberated territories continue successfully, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said during the third reading of the draft law on the "State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025" in the Milli Majlis (Parliament), APA reports.
"Starting from 2020, a total of nearly AZN 22 billion has been allocated from the state budget for restoration and reconstruction works, including 4 billion manat in 2025," the Prime Minister noted.
Within the framework of the "Great Return" program, the process of relocating internally displaced persons (IDPs) to the liberated areas is being successfully carried out. To date, 2,417 families, comprising 9,306 people, have been relocated to the liberated territories, he added.
