In Azerbaijan, no criminal cases related to forcing women into marriage has been recorded in 2024, this was reflected in the “2024 Report of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” which was discussed today at a meeting of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, APA reports.
It was noted that, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 71 women were recognized as victims in 70 recorded criminal cases related to involving women in prostitution.
