Relocation to the city of Khojaly and the village of Ballija
On May 22, another resettlement process took place to the city of Khojaly and the village of Ballija in the district, APA reports.
Families relocating to Khojaly and Ballija were presented with the keys to their new homes.
Employment issues of the families settled in Khojaly
Speaking before the former IDPs, Mahmud Afandiyev, Deputy Executive Director of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts stated that employment issues of the families settled in the restored houses are being constantly monitored. Employment is being provided by both state institutions and the private sector. The village has been supplied with electricity, gas, drinking water, and high-speed internet.
Saying that "Khojaly, which we have longed for and kept alive in our hearts, is being revived today," M. Afandiyev emphasized that this is not just a relocation, but a symbol of patiently awaited victory and return home.
The total number of people relocated to the Khojaly district so far
As a result, a total of 86 families (346 people) have been resettled in the city of Khojaly, and 180 families (840 people) in the village of Ballija.
