According to the WHO recent report, older people will represent more than 25% of the total population of the European Region by 2050. Experts believe that the migration will save demographic situation in the continent. Based on reported date, an estimated 73 million migrants live in the European Region, accounting for nearly 8% of the total population, with woman representing 52% of all migrants. Migrants are usually younger, less affluent and more likely to become ill and have less access to health services than the rest of the population.
