Deputy prime minister, chairman the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs told the Head of State that the facility in Masazir was the 78th residential area built for refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan. Some 760 families or 3,420 IDPs will be resettled in the newly-built facility, which occupies a total area of 12 hectares. There are a number of social facilities in the area, including a 540-seat school, a 280-seat kindergarten, a club, and a medical center. The President was told that construction of the facility started last April.
The President visited Shafag kindergarten, and then proceeded to the local school where he viewed a computer room, and watched training of sportsmen.
