According to the poll conducted by Israel’s Ynet news agency in 2005, Ehud Barak was named one of the 200 Greatest Israelis of all time. Ehud Barak is also the only Israeli Prime Minister, who made efforts in the peace talks with Palestine for the recognition of Palestine’s territorial integrity.
“South Caucasus Forum” is supported by the Library of Alexandria, Fundacion de Paz and Ganja city executive authority.
Queen Noor of Jordan, former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak, former Foreign Minister of Greece Dora Bakoyannis, former UNESCO Director Federico Mayor Zaragoza, director of the Library of Alexandria Ismail Serageldin, former presidents of Latvia Vaira VÄ«Ä·e-Freiberga, Valdis Zatlers, former President of Turkey Suleyman Demirel, former President of Finland Tarja Halonen, leaders of about 50 countries, including Mauritania, Bolivia, Argentina, Costa Rica, Lithuania, Nigeria, Republic of South Africa, Portugal and Mexico will attend the event.
