Education Minister Mikail Jabbarov holds first meeting with department heads of Ministry

Baku. Kenul Kamilgizi-APA. Today, new Education Minister Mikail Jabbarov has held a meeting with heads of departments of the Ministry of Education.

The meeting started at 18.00 and continued for more than three hours. During the meeting, the minister talked to the heads of the departments, exchanged views on the various fields of education, the Ministry of Education informed APA. No structural changes were made as a result of the meeting.

Former Minister of Education Misir Mardanov has been dismissed by the order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to another order of the President, head of the Administration of State Historical - Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher” under the Cabinet of Ministers Mikayil Jabbarov has been appointed as Minister of Education.

Today, during a meeting of the new Minister of Education was presented to the collective of the Ministry. Mikayil Jabbarov was introduced by the head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev.
