The Ministry told APA that most of the applicants were citizens studying in different countries of the CIS and Turkey, others were graduates from the universities of Europe, America, Asia and the Arab countries.
Department for recognition of education documents found out 119 illegal facts among the documents submitted within a year and the decision was made to unrecognize these documents in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As a result of the Department’s activities, it was proved that citizens, who received negative response on the nostrification, had obtained 6 fake diplomas from foreign countries.
The Russian Federation, United States and Switzerland are also among the countries that gave fake diplomas.
