A media tour was organized to the Ganja Memorial Complex, APA’s local bureau reports.
Journalists got acquainted with the work carried out in the complex.
Ramil Jahangirov, head of department at the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, provided information about the work being done in the complex.
He stated that final finishing works are currently underway at the complex.
Note that President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inspected the work carried out in the Ganja Memorial Complex on August 20.
President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone for the Ganja Memorial Complex in January 2022. The complex, which will reflect the crimes committed by the Armenian army against the civilian population during the 44-day Patriotic War, is being built in the area where residential buildings hit by missile strikes and the former park were located.
