Introducing Kalbajar honey to the international market is planned-PHOTO

Media representatives visited the “Balland – Kalbajar Honey, Bees and Beekeeping Products Store” located in Kalbajar, APA’s local bureau reports.

Journalists were informed about the store.

It was noted that this project is of great importance not only in terms of the development of beekeeping, but also for ensuring the socio-economic revival of the liberated territories, the production of environmentally friendly products, and strengthening the agricultural potential of the region.

The head of the store, Ruslan Musayev, said that along with honey, propolis, royal jelly, pollen, beeswax, and other natural products are offered here: “In the future, it is planned to bring these products to the international market under the ‘Made in Azerbaijan’ brand and to create an online sales platform. The store is not only a place for sales, but also serves as a platform for promoting Kalbajar honey, branding beekeeping products, and supporting the development of this field.”

R. Musayev noted that they have been engaged in beekeeping for over 40 years. According to him, there are currently about 400 bee colonies in their farm.

Note that on August 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the “Balland – Kalbajar Honey, Bees and Beekeeping Products Store.”
