"EU Defense Ministers have not reached an agreement on jointly lifting the restrictions on the use of weapons supplied to Ukraine within Russian territory," High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said at a press conference held in Brussels following the informal meeting of the defense ministers of the 27 EU countries, APA reports.
"The member states have decided that this is a bilateral issue, and the decision should be made by the countries supplying the weapons. A strategic discussion was held at the EU level, but the Ministers decided that the matter should remain under the authority of national bodies," he stated.
