Emin Agalarov issues statement on incident at Sea Breeze

Businessman Emin Agalarov has issued a statement regarding the incident that occurred at Sea Breeze yesterday, APA reports.

Businessman Emin Agalarov shared a post about the incident on his personal Instagram page.

“On behalf of myself personally and the entire Sea Breeze team, I extend my deepest and most sincere condolences to the family. There are no words that can ease the pain of the parents and loved ones at such a moment.

An investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident, including how the child entered the technical area of the pool, where the water pumps were operating and which was enclosed by barriers. For our part, we are providing comprehensive support to the investigation.

“The safety of children and adults has always been and remains an absolute priority and commitment for Sea Breeze. All areas and facilities of the resort are regularly inspected by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and relevant authorities. The water park has been operating for its third season and has welcomed more than 350,000 guests during this period. In connection with the incident, all safety measures will additionally be reviewed and strengthened.

The Sea Breeze team and I personally will provide the family with all necessary support and assistance,” Emin Agalarov said in his post.

Note that on August 14, at the Sea Breeze resort located in the Nardaran settlement, the leg of Akif Javid oglu Abdullayev, born in 2022, became trapped in a water pump in the swimming pool.

Despite the measures taken, it was not possible to save the 4-year-old child, and he died.
