The Sixth Plenary Meeting of the United Nations Global Operational Network on Anti-Corruption (GlobE Network) has concluded in Baku, APA reports.
Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Anti-Corruption Directorate Nazim Rajabov delivered a speech at the event.
He emphasized that the GlobE Network serves as a significant platform for strengthening international cooperation in the fight against corruption.
Nazim Rajabov noted that the GlobE Network plays a vital role in fostering international collaboration in anti-corruption efforts. Such events facilitate the exchange of experience and the building of trust among states.
The meeting featured more than 100 speeches and over 20 panel discussions, with the participation of representatives from more than 120 government institutions across 92 countries. Expressing gratitude to the UNODC Secretariat and the local organizing committee for the high-level organization of the event, Nazim Rajabov affirmed that Azerbaijan will continue contributing to the global fight against corruption.
