International scientific-practical conference on expert-criminalistics activities of authorized bodies of CIS member states organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and the Office for Coordination of Fight against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes in the Territories of the CIS Member-States was held, APA reports.
The event was held at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs under the title “Current Issues of Expert-Criminalistics Activities of Authorized Bodies of CIS Member States.”
The conference was attended by experts in criminalistics and forensic examination from CIS member states including Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, along with representatives from Azerbaijan’s Police Academy, Criminalistics Department, Prosecutor General’s Office, Ministry of Justice, and other organizations.
During the conference, reports were presented on the effectiveness of combating international crime and searching for criminals in CIS member states, expert-criminalistics activities in the investigation of crimes using information technologies, and directions of forensic expertise.
