The 67th General Assembly of the International Association of Judges, which brings together judges from 93 countries, will be held in Baku this October, said Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council and the Supreme Court, Inam Karimov, at the international conference themed “Global Challenges in Judicial Administration,” dedicated to the 3rd meeting of the judicial councils of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the 20th anniversary of the activity of the Judicial-Legal Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
He noted that the holding of this important event in Azerbaijan is a reflection of the international recognition of the reforms carried out to ensure the independence of the judiciary.
