Preparations have been started in Baku regarding the anniversary of the 20 January Tragedy, APA reports.
The preparatory works regarding the 34th anniversary of the 20 January Tragedy are ongoing in Alley of Martyrs.
Traditionally, special compositions are made from carnations of different colors in the area of Alley. Experienced specialists and landscape designers have been involved in these works. The institutions of Executive Power of Baku City of the Republic of Azerbaijan traditionally carry out extensive cleaning and landscaping works on the Alley of Martyrs, branches of trees and some bushes were trimmed, the lawn has been renewed, new flowers and bushes were planted, lampposts were painted, the sidewalks and the entire area are washed, and prevention is carried out at both of the torches in the Alley.
The preparatory works are planned to be completed by January 19.
