The Initial Planning Conference for the Darb Al-Aman 7 exercise was held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on September 15–17, 2026, jointly organized by Jordan's National Center for Security and Crisis Management and NATO's Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC), the press service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
The ministry said that Lieutenant Colonel Asmar Salamova, First Deputy Head of the Ministry's Crisis Management Center, attended the conference as part of a delegation comprising representatives of Azerbaijani state institutions.
The event aimed to identify the main areas and scenarios for the Darb Al-Aman 7 exercise, scheduled for 2027, as well as to discuss mechanisms for international cooperation and the coordination of joint response measures during emergencies.
