"In 2025, the installation of 5 automatic meteorological stations is planned, including in the city of Khankandi and Aghdara districts," a Department Head at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Kanan Karimli, stated during a meeting of the working group on environmental issues, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Khankandi reports.
He mentioned that, for the purpose of assessing surface water resources in the liberated territories, 11 automatic hydrological stations have been installed and put into operation on 10 rivers, as well as 5 automatic meteorological stations for the purpose of studying the hydrometeorological situation in these territories: "Additionally, 3 automatic agro-meteorological stations have been installed and put into operation, with one set being in the city of Khankandi, one set in the village of Gulabird in Lachin district, and one set near the city of Khojaly," he added.
