A decrease in the cases of measles infection is being observed in Azerbaijan, the Republican Hygiene and Epidemiology Center of Azerbaijan told APA.
Tayyar Eyvazov, a specialist-expert of the Ministry of Health, an infectious disease specialist, noted that repeated illness with measles can happen very rarely and is rarely found.
"Chickenpox is caused by herpes virus type 3. This is an acute form of the disease. After the virus infects a person, it never leaves the body, it remains for life, and when the immune system is weakened, it causes shingles," he said.
