Another resettlement to the village of Horovlu in Jabrayil district has taken place, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
47 families (189 people) were relocated to Horovlu village today.
The residents expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them. They also thanked the valiant Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and prayed for mercy upon our martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path, wishing patience to their families.
It should be noted that the total area of the village is 248 hectares. In the first phase, 334 single-family houses were built on a 94-hectare area. The houses have 2, 3, 4, and 5 rooms and are equipped with modern utility infrastructure—water, electricity, gas, solar panels, and high-speed internet.
Internal village roads have been asphalted. Construction has been completed on a 624-student school building, a 220-place nursery-kindergarten, a two-storey administrative building, a market complex, multifunctional service facilities, a medical point, and a sports-recreation center.
The historically used but destroyed kahrizes—“Asgar,” “Shygy,” “Orta,” “Gulgasim,” and “Khalifa”—were restored. A 4.4-hectare park complex was also built in Horovlu. In addition, walking paths were laid from the Flag Square to the market complex. Olive, plane, and Eldar pine trees were planted in a 3.1-hectare green area.
