"There is cooperation with the UN in various areas, and it will continue in this way. In particular, we have developed programs in nature protection, water management, and other areas," said Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, APA reports.

According to him, these issues have been discussed, but are still on the agenda: "The UN's experience in this area can be very useful for us. The main issue is to support technical and various projects, joint implementation, and application of world best practices in Azerbaijan. Taking these measures in the liberated territories should be of greater importance for us, especially in all areas - agriculture, environmental protection, urban development, green agriculture, smart city, smart village, greenhouse, green corridor, protection of nature in general, etc. Azerbaijan is preparing to declare the liberated territories a zero-emission zone by 2050. Therefore, we attach importance to the implementation of all nature-friendly projects here, "Babayev said.
