Azerbaijan determines mined territories in 210 liberated villages

Last year, operations to clear and neutralize mines and unexploded ordnance were carried out in the liberated territories from the occupation, APA reports.

It has been reflected in the "Summary report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2021".

Noted in the report that in 2021, within the framework of the application of innovative solutions and new technologies, exploration of the territories has been started with drones equipped with multi-sensor devices from the outside. Information on dangerous objects and their coordinates in various areas with a total area of 18 thousand hectares in the liberated territories from the occupation as a result of the application of new technologies has been submitted to the Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA). Based on the analysis of information collected from various sources, mined areas were identified in 210 villages liberated from occupation and affected by the war.
