The decision of the board of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population approved the working hours standard and the production calendar for 2025, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population told APA.
It is noted that in accordance with the working hours standard, the following days in 2025 are not considered working days:
January 1, 2 - New Year;
January 20 - Day of National Mourning;
March 8 - International Women's Day;
March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 - Novruz holiday;
March 30, 31 - Ramadan holiday;
May 9 - Victory Day over fascism;
May 28 - Independence Day;
June 6, 7 - Gurban Bayram;
June 15 - National Salvation Day of the Azerbaijani People;
June 26 - Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
November 8 - Victory Day;
November 9 - Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
December 31 - Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.
In accordance with the Labor Code and the Cabinet of Ministers' regulations, the days off in 2025 with a five-day workweek are January 3, March 10, 25 and 26, April 1, June 9, 16, November 10 and 11, and with a six-day workweek - March 25, April 1, June 16 and November 10. February 2025 consists of 28 calendar days, and the year consists of 365 calendar days.
In 2025, with a five-day workweek, there are 239 working days, 105 days off that are not considered working days, 19 holidays that are not considered working days, as well as the day of municipal elections and the day of national mourning.
