Another relocation convoy has arrived in Aghdam city, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

According to the bureau, the relocation convoy that departed from Baku on September 1 arrived in Aghdam city.

The families relocating to Aghdam city were presented with the keys to their new apartments and settled into their homes.

Including the latest relocation, a total of 1,048 families have been resettled in Aghdam city.

In accordance with President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, the Great Return process to the liberated territories continues, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

The next relocation convoy, which departed from Baku on September 1, has arrived in the city of Aghdam.

At this stage, 117 families, comprising 362 people, have been relocated to the city of Aghdam.

Of them, 82 families (260 people) were relocated from Baku, 10 families (29 people) from Barda district, 7 families (19 people) from Mingachevir, 5 families (18 people) from Sumgayit, 4 families (10 people) from Aghjabadi district, 2 families (5 people) from Aghdam district, 2 families (5 people) from Aghdash district, 2 families (4 people) from Absheron district, 1 family (6 people) from Ismayilli district, 1 family (4 people) from Beylagan district, and 1 family (2 people) from Ganja to their native city.

Those who relocated are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.

The families relocated to the city of Aghdam were presented with the keys to their new apartments and settled in their residences.

The residents returning to their native land thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for being provided with comprehensive state care.

They also expressed their gratitude to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and wished mercy upon our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this cause.

Taking into account the latest relocation, a total of 1,048 families have been settled in the city of Aghdam.

Overall, 9,831 families, or 39,631 people, have been settled in 47 settlements across one city and 10 districts in the liberated territories.
