Azerbaijan and Czech Republic sing MoU for environmental cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Ministry of Environment of Czech Republic signed on Friday Memorandum of Understanding in the field of environment protection. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyn Bagirov and Deputy Minister of Environment of Czech Republic Jan Dusik have signed the document, APA reports.
Speaking at the signing ceremony Huseyn Bagirov said that Dusik aimed to sign this memorandum during the visit to Azerbaijan. The document describes the issues of future cooperation on the environment protection. The minister said Azerbaijan and Czech Republic would cooperate in the fields of protection of physiological resources, waste management, climate changes, improving of quality of the drinking water. Bagirov said module water-cleaning plants had been installed in the areas of Azerbaijan with poor drinking water opportunities. The Czech companies are also expected to be involved in this process.
