Misir Mardanov meets computer company owners

Azerbaijanâ€™s Education Minister Misir Mardanov today received the head of Microsoft companyâ€™s representation in Azerbaijan Vladimir Chaykovski, head of HP companyâ€™s representation in Azerbaijan Rufat Hajialibayov, head of Intel representation for Middle Asia and Azerbaijan Murad Ibrahimov and president of Ultra company Tahir Mirkishili, Education Ministryâ€™s press service told the APA.
The issues regarding State Program on Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in 2008-2012 were debated in the meeting.
Mr. Mardanov approving the organizations cooperating with Azerbaijan in the computerizing of educational enterprises in the country said that OIC will negotiate with the Cabinet of Ministers and Finance Ministry regarding funds to be allocated for the implementation of the program.
The Minister added that Azerbaijan is responsible for the implementation of the program.
The Education Minister said that all the secondary schools will be supplied with computers, Internet, and training will be organized for teachers. Information Centers for regulating information in computer systems of secondary schools, and education portal will be established. /APA/
