200 buses will be imported to Azerbaijan for public transportation

Nazim Guliyev, President of Nihad Motors, told APA-Economics that in accordance with the agreement with ChangAn, 500 buses had to be delivered to Baku by August.
â€œ10 buses were delivered to Azerbaijan.We discovered that European-standard engines are not suitable and durable for Azerbaijan. We changed the agreement to buy the rest [490 buses] with standards durable to post-soviet roads. There will be some changes in chassis, engine and pumps. The buses are being designed in accordance with our demands,â€ he noted.
In a few days, 200 redesigned buses will be delivered to Baku. All the booked buses will be imported to Azerbaijan and will be used for in-city public transportation.
He noted that the price per 30-seat bus costs $50,000-$70,000. /APA-Economics/
