Incidents in industrial environments kill 19 this year

54 incidents occurred in industrial environments this year, chief of State Labor Inspection at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population Nabi Shukurlu told the APA.
He stated that these incidents killed 19. Though the incidents occurred in all the fields of the industry, most of them occurred in construction.
Shukurlu saying that irregularities are observed mostly in private sectors stated that activity of inspector on labor protection and trade union helps them in this work.
â€œEither there is no trade union in private sectors or person on labour protection has no authority. Or they have no enough experience for giving instructions to newly-employed worker,â€ he said.
Shukurlu said that the production situation in Russia is more miserable compared with Azerbaijan stated that workmen working in construction should be provided with security belts.
â€œSome say that these belts are expensive and they are not sold in the republic. But the employee can substitute those belts with other things for preventing such cases,â€ he said. /APA/
