Turkey hosts seminar â€œReform initiatives for Caucasus Security Institutesâ€

Istanbul. Rashad Seleymanov â€“ APA. A seminar entitled â€œReform initiatives for Caucasus Security Institutesâ€ started in Istanbul, Turkey. APA reports that Peace and Conflict Resolution Centre of Azerbaijan also participates in the seminar, which is supported by the German Marshall Fundâ€™s project -the Black Sea Regional Cooperation Fund and the Norwegian Atlantic Committee.

The number of different issues, including the current situation in the Caucasus countries will be discussed at the seminar lasting till June 27.

NATOâ€™s Partnership for Peace liaison officer for the South Caucasus William Cohen, professor of Triangle Institute for security Studies of Duke University Peter Feaver, the representative of Russian Centre of Military Analysis Anatoly Tsiganok, Turkish colonel Mustafa Ulucakar, General Oktay Bingol, the representative of the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces Todor Tagarev will make reports at the seminar.

The representatives of the South Caucasus countries, Russia, Ukraine and delegations of other Eatern Eorope counties will participate in the seminar.
